EE Certification - Application Packet

APPLICATION PACKET
Original plus 2 copies of each of the following items should be included in the application packet. Applicant may download and complete the application form and code of ethics.

  • Letter of Intent
  • Application Form
  • Copy of valid Texas driver’s license or TDPS issued I.D. card
  • Signed Code of Ethics

Original plus 2 copies of the following assessment components should be included in the application packet. More information about the assessment components can be found at Application Components. Please attach these items in the order they are listed.

  • Professional Resume or Vitae
  • letters of Reference
  • Environmental Literacy test
  • Competencies Worksheet
  • Lesson Plan/Instructional Program Outline
  • Video of Instruction
  • Computer-generated Product

Application packets received by February 15 of each year will be reviewed in March with applicants notified by April 15. Application packets received by September 15 of each year will be reviewed in October with applicants notified by November 15.

Upon approval, applicants will receive a plaque recognizing them as a Certified Professional Environmental Educator in Texas. All Certified Educators will be listed on the Texas Environmental Education Partnership website.
